Creating "Friday" has been a deeply sentimental journey for me as an artist. This piece beautifully captures the life journey of a beloved grey horse, transitioning from youthful dappled shades to a serene, mature light grey. The middle section holds the essence of their shared journey, adorned with highlights and memories that resonate deeply.
To add texture and profound sentiment, I incorporated the horse's actual hair and shavings into the painting. His shoes, used to create poignant hoof prints across the canvas, symbolize the path they walked together through life's ups and downs.
